This is a professional, managerial, and administrative level position, whereby the incumbent directs, plans, and coordinates the overall activities of Behavioral Health Division. Incumbent will assist the Health Officer with designing, implementing, managing, maintaining, and evaluating programs/activities for treatment and clinical interventions to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with mental illness and addictions.
Master's degree in Public Health Administration, Public Health, Human Services, or a closely related field, plus five (5) years of professional administrative and management experience directing staff and activities in the Behavioral Health field; with a least three (3) years supervisory experience overseeing specific programs and compliance initiatives; supervising and managing professionals, para-professionals, supervisors, and technical staff. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Each applicant Must include information, which clearly demonstrates the above qualifications for this position.
