Leads the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies for the assigned clinical program.
Develops departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the objectives of the organization. Evaluates program and initiatives.
Directs all activities related to staffing including hiring, training, development, and evaluation of staff. Assigns tasks. Prioritizes and coordinates work.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves and/or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Bachelor's Level Degree
Masters degree in Nursing preferred or Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred with a Masters in Nursing expected within two years of hire
Bachelors in Nursing and 5 years relevant to cardiovascular procedural area; or
Allied Health License with 5 or more years Cardiovascular procedural experience in lieu of RN license
Master's degree required within two years of hire
5+ years Cardiology Procedural Operations management required. Other experience considered: Bachelors in Nursing or Allied Health with 5 years Cardiovascular Technologist or Imaging management experience.
