Provides overall operational and clinical leadership for all home care business lines. In collaboration with senior management, provides the strategic direction for home care.
Assures overall operational and clinical leadership of the home care department to assure quality patient care services.
Assures financial viability of the home care department including financial profit and loss accountability.
Leads strategic planning for the home care service lines and makes connections to the overall organization’s strategic plan.
Aligns department operating plans with organization’s operating plan initiatives.
In collaboration with the Home Care Medical Director, assures clinical compliance with all CHOP/CHHC patient care standards.
Assesses future opportunities to expand home care services and makes recommendations to senior management.
Assures substantial attainment of the Home Care annual operating plan.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in a health care profession.
At least five years of successful home care clinical, financial & operations management experience.
Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic
Masters degree in health care related field.
At least five years of management experience in complex academic medical center.
Additional Technical Requirements
Ability to analyze financial data.
Project management skills.
Solid working knowledge of process innovation methodology.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong working knowledge of home care billing and third party payer relations.
