The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and at the University of Vermont Health Network, seeks an education scholar faculty member with expertise in education for a full-time faculty position on the Education Scholar Pathway (non-tenure) at the Assistant Professor rank.
The ideal candidate will have an M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent in Education or a related field, at least 2 years of experience in the field of education or curriculum design and development, and familiarity with and experience in the area of health care education. This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate educational professional to join a world-class medical college and health network to help shape the direction and efforts of education in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This individual will play a critical role in creating key educational initiatives to help deliver an expanded portfolio of programs for the University, Graduate College, and College of Medicine. In addition to developing educational programs for the University of Vermont, this individual will work closely with departmental members involved in Graduate Medical Education, including the ACGME-accredited Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology residency program and departmental clinical fellowship programs.
