The Department of Clinical Genomics at Mayo Clinic is seeking two full time board-certified/board-eligible Clinical Geneticist in Jacksonville, FL. You will further develop the genomic medicine program in Florida through a balanced academic and clinical career with potential for future leadership roles.
Partner with the Mayo Clinic Center for Individualized Medicine to participate in a variety of clinical and research activities that focus on bringing the promise of genomics to better, more personalized adult patient care. You will enjoy close clinical collaboration with gastroenterologists, neurologists, endocrinologists, surgeons and multiple other disciplines present within all sites of Mayo Clinic.
Our integrated medical practice provides diagnosis, medical treatment, surgery and care in more than 40 specialty areas with distinguished programs in cancer, transplantation, neurosciences, heart disease and digestive diseases. Mayo Clinicâ™s values of teamwork and collaboration are essential to providing integrated medical and surgical care to patients with complex conditions. The faculty member will have an academic appointment in The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine commensurate with prior background.
License or certification Candidates must be board-eligible or board certified by The American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) and be eligible for Florida licensure. Board certification in Internal Medicine or other discipline focusing on adult medical care is preferred.
