The International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) is seeking a professional to join our team as a Customer Communications Coordinator. This full time position will assist in the overall communications and customer service of the Certification Department.
Serve as primary respondent to certification and re-certification related inquiries received via email, fax, mail, and phone
Respond to certification verification requests from certificants, employers, and 3rd parties
Assist with the distribution of certification related documents (e.g. exam eligibility information, certification documents, re-certification materials)
Document the receipt of application and certification submissions in the Association’s database
Ensure a high degree of customer service by providing helpful and accurate customer service to applicants and certificants
Provide support to other department staff as needed
Other duties as assigned
Experience working with a database
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
High Attention to detail
Familiarity with Central Service or a related medical profession a plus
