Navicent Health serves a primary and secondary service area of 30 counties and nearly 750,000 persons in central and south Georgia. It has over 4,600 employees and a medical staff of over 590 physicians. As the second largest hospital in Georgia, Navicent Health is licensed for 637 beds and is the primary teaching hospital for Mercer University School of Medicine.
The Vice President, Revenue Cycle and Financial Operations will serve as a strategic and operational finance leader to promote financial sustainability and support the medical group in achieving its aggressive growth objectives. The Vice President will work collaboratively with physicians, hospital leadership and system executives to expand Navicent Health Medical Group’s presence in the market. The Vice President will direct the medical group’s long-term and annual financial planning process, revenue cycle, corporate and coding compliance programs, accounting and financial analysis teams as well as its relationship with payor sources and physician, hospital, and accountable care organizations. The Vice President will serve within a highly visible role within the health system relating to presenting financials, developing multi-year practice strategic plans and annual goals, and supporting operational processes that promote financial stewardship as well as avenues for enhancement. This position reports to the enterprise Chief Financial Officer and will be embedded within the medical group leadership team.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of five years of progressive leadership in financial management within a multispecialty medical group involving physician practice revenue cycle operations, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting. A bachelor’s degree is required; CPA and/or advance business or finance degree is preferred.
