Research Assistant I

The Research Assistant I, under general supervision of the Investigator and Laboratory Manager, is an entry level position for an individual who will perform basic Lab techniques and general Lab maintenance that assists in the conduction of an Investigator’s Research project. The Research Assistant I performs basic Immunology techniques such as pipetting, staining, preparing media, aliquoting, etc., according to the Laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedures. The Research Assistant I must also demonstrate an aptitude for acquiring knowledge and new skills that relate to Immunology Research and the particular project on which he/she works.
The ideal The Research Assistant I candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and prior experience working in a medical research laboratory.
