Records Clerk locates and retrieves company records as requested, follows verification procedures and prepares newly received records for archiving, refile returned records, assist in the processing of destruction eligible records, perform various other projects related to the archived records such as indexing, sorting and cataloging as well as performing warehouse cleaning duties as requested.
The Records Clerk should possess a moderate understanding of warehouse operations as well as have the ability to learn various inventory and computer systems required for the position.
The Records Clerk works closely under direct supervision of senior personnel in the functional area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process request for records and files as well as refile returning records request.
Inbound and process into inventory new records and files.
Perform data entry, as needed.
Operate warehouse equipment/lifts.
Answer queries by searching and retrieving files.
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to organize and prioritize task
Effective communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook email
Knowledge on how to operate warehouse lift equipment
