This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The clinical and program activities assumed under this position are conducted as part of the Mental Health Intensive Case Management (MHICM) program. MHICM is an interdisciplinary program which includes mental health, social work, and nursing. MHICM program is administered locally under the direction of Mental Health Care Line. The position will be located at the Clarksville CBOC. Major duties and responsibilities: Providing diagnostic interviews, assessments, and psychotherapy, including Telemental-health, for adult patients. Diagnose mental disorders and conduct psychological and/or cognitive function assessments and neuropsychological screenings. Treat mental disorders through a variety of modalities and provide adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders. Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care. Performs evaluations for psychodiagnosis, treatment planning and functional evaluations. Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual and group psychotherapy, family therapy, consultation, rehabilitation and psychoeducation. Provides training and clinical supervision to psychology trainees, psychology technicians and unlicensed psychologists. Creates, monitors, and analyzes program monitors and outcome measurements within programs assigned using a data-driven quality assurance processes, as assigned.
